The faculty of Social Studies department, Ms. Piali Biswas & Mr. Sudhansu Sekhar Mishra attended an informative session at the DPS Monarch International School on Saturday 24th September (24.9.2022) at their school multi-purpose hall from 9.30-1.00 PM on the topic “Learning strategies in Social Science.” The resource persons were Ms. Madhu Uppal and Mr. Aban Samuel. It was an interactive session where many important topics like National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), transforming teaching into effective learning, strategies to be implemented in teaching social science were discussed. It was agreed upon that the central concern of management and to resolve conflict in and outside the classroom can be done by enhancing coordination, fostering communication and ensuring that data and information are shared with a broad and holistic view of capacity development. Teachers of Indian school were also given a chance to express their views and ideas related to the workshop. Many activities were held for the teachers to make the session interactive.
The workshop was very informative and interesting.
