An Inter-School capacity-building programme on the topic “Classroom Management and Educational Approaches” was conducted by Santiniketan Indian School, under the aegis of CBSE Gulf Sahodaya, Qatar Chapter, on 24 September 2022. The programme was attended by teachers from various Indian Schools in Qatar. Two teachers from DPS Modern Indian School, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Das and Ms. Priya Susan Nijo, represented the school at the
programme. The resource person Mr. Dudley O’Conner in the highly interactive session spoke at length about the ways of classroom management, which comprise teachers’ mindfulness and students’ attention. The resource person also stressed on how effective communication strategies can be important in classroom management.

The session was an engaging one and gave the teachers an opportunity to evaluate themselves as teachers and their role as a teacher in the classroom.
